cultivating the spontaneity of insight
a somatic meditation & sound experience
live & online
no prior experience of any kind required
workshop recording available for 3 months
In this workshop we learn simple ways to access meditative, peaceful, parasympathetic states — to come home to ourselves — and discover creative power and ease.
We learn how to:
༄ Locate our center and maintain it—even in the face of overwhelm, chaos, and anxiety.
༄ Recognize peace and subtle pleasure as embodied, spontaneous qualities already present within us (however unlikely that may seem!).
༄ Direct the compass of ‘practice’ toward enjoyment and play rather than discipline, tedious practice, and rigid technique.
༄ Invite our day-to-day mind — with all of its hopes and fears — to experience its fundamental creative power, clarity, and capacity for knowing.
༄ Access the body’s innate intelligence as a way to work with our experience without pressure to silence thought or be still.
Participants receive:
༄ A live sound immersion over Zoom for rest and deep relaxation.
༄ A practical introduction to sound as a somatic and meditative tool for nervous system health.
༄ Simple, accessible practices for standing, sitting, moving, and lying down that support ongoing balance.
༄ A short four-line meditation, The Invitation of Worlds, plus inspired commentary for day-to-day integration.
༄ Guided instruction in Tibetan primordial sound to bring ease and balance into body and mind.
༄ Support in sensing and relating to subtle energy in the body for health, pain relief, and stress reduction.
🌀 This workshop fulfills the prerequisite for future Invitation of Worlds series classes without having to complete one-on-one sessions.
