About Touching Ground
Touching Ground offers simple and efficient techniques to experience meditation as an embodied experience without having to silence thought or be still.
Guided practice approaches meditation as a natural part of being human.
We learn to meditate with the body and discover relaxation and ease as ongoing aspects of our moment-to-moment experience—the nourishment of conscious embodiment.
Through somatic awareness (learning to sense and feel the body from the inside out), simple sounding techniques, poetic contemplations, and deepening layers of breath, we explore:
Touchstones of presence—simple ways to anchor and ground.
The undercurrent of presence—a deep sense of at-homeness in the world.
Gestures of awareness—subtle energetic and physical movements that invite physical ease.
